Our Team - Cristina Gelsomini Biography

Cristina Gelsomini is an associate at the firm. She received her law degree from the University of Windsor and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007.

Always having an interest in the criminal justice system, Cristina received her Honours B.A. and Masters degree in Criminology from the University of Toronto. Before being admitted to the Bar, Cristina had worked at the Duty Counsel office and volunteered in different capacities in the justice system. Through these experiences, Cristina has gained an enriched understanding of role of the Charter in criminal cases.

Before joining the team at Risen, Inch & Fraser, Cristina articled at a Toronto criminal law firm.

Cristina is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and is a policy member at the Justice for Children and Youth.
